[opensuse-factory] Firefox 3.0 - problem with profiles
Hello, I installed Firefox Beta 3.0 from mozilla:/beta/openSUSE_10.3 (I think, the first one I tried was 3.0.5 and now it is the latest 3.0.7.2) on OpenSUSE 10.3 (32bit version), KDE 3.5.7 on one machine. I had 2 profiles there left from 2.0 version. What I observe is that when I run firefox without parameters or with -ProfileManager, it just ends up silently - no crash, no error messages. If I use firefox -P <ProfileName> it works fine. I tried FF 3.0 RC2 from Mozilla site on the same machine and it worked as expected: showed the window for profile selection. I stick with Mozilla version for now, but probably it's worth checking, not sure how I can figure out what's wrong. I checked the ps -ef and there were no other firefox processes running. This is just my last reported problem!!
I just try to start firefox with "firefox -P <login>" and... just start and run!! Every time I try to run firefox no firefox processes was running.
The only difference between you and I is I'm running opensuse 11 Factory/RC1 updated up fri 7 jun.
Ok, I try now closing firefox in a right manner (the last was a firefox hang), run firefox from the desktop icon and... is running OK now. Seems that any file doesn't close in the right manner. Thank you. -- Have a nice day ;-) TooManySecrets ============================ Dijo Confucio: "Exígete mucho a ti mismo y espera poco de los demás.
