[opensuse-factory] What is going on!!!!!!
What in the world is changing permission on a fresh reload of 11.4 M6. So far something changed /dev/null so that "startx" failed and now a knosole won't return a curser. I found the problem with the gpm mouse not working. It turns out to be a i586 openSuSE problem with a defective binary gpm, next the permissions on /dev/input/mice or mouse0 is to tight (which are set by udev), then mouse0 and mice in /etc/sysconfig/mouse has both variable set as mice, and lastly the start script (echo $GPM_PARM} seems to have a problem with its variables. Where are the permissions.local setting for changing mouse0 and mice. I tried /etc/permissions.local and doesn't work at boot time. Logged In to Bugs and typed in info only to have it close without sending. -- 73 de Donn Washburn 307 Savoy Street Email:" n5xwb@comcast.net " Sugar Land, TX 77478 LL# 1.281.242.3256 Ham Callsign N5XWB HAMs : " n5xwb@arrl.net " VoIP via Gizmo: bmw_87kbike / via Skype: n5xwbg BMW MOA #: 4146 - Ambassador " http://counter.li.org " #279316 -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org
