Difference between organizations “rpm” and “pool” in “src.opensuse.org”
Hello, May I ask what are the differences between these two organizations in "src.opensuse.org"? They both have a similar package list. https://src.opensuse.org/pool https://src.opensuse.org/rpm/ By the way, will this old site continue to update? https://code.opensuse.org/group/package Thank you.

This is the organization used for the git packaging. It is the authoritative source of packages for a few packages that switched to git.
This is an organization that is automatically fed from Factory, iirc by Bernhard's sync scripts.

I don't know about any plans that would involve pagure. Afaik only the openSUSE Heroes are using it. It was simply deployed for anyone that needs a git forge. Anyone is free to use it LCP [Jake] https://lcp.world/
Hello, Comparing https://src.opensuse.org/pool/xz with https://src.opensuse.org/rpm/xz, it looks "pool" is more close to OBS. "rpm" by Bernhard's sync scripts delete all files by recently commits. Is it on purpose?

What is the status of the issue tracker? It looks pretty much alive? https://code.opensuse.org/leap/features/issues

This is managed by Dirk Mueller using https://src.opensuse.org/importers/git-importer and https://github.com/openSUSE/git-lfs-ro-server might be involved here for the tarballs.

Yes. This is where I push individual packages. The related full tree is at https://github.com/bmwiedemann/openSUSE/ Some split packages are a bit buggy atm but at least https://code.opensuse.org/package/kernel-source got auto-updated just fine. I intend to keep that updated as good as I can at least until Factory/Tumbleweed is fully switched to git. Ciao Bernhard M.
