[opensuse-factory] moblin
Hello, What is the proper way of installing moblin, if I don't want to trash my whole disk with the OEM installer? I got a netbook with Windows pre installed for work, but I have plenty of free space on the HDD to test Linux when Windows is not required. In case you don't get a reply here, I suggest to mail the opensuse-goblin mailing list :-) Cheers, Vincent -- Les gens heureux ne sont pas pressés. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org

As I understood the creation of a Moblin pattern for factory is fairly imminent. Maybe you should just wait a week or two. And iirc the announcements of G/Moblin on news. opensuse.org mentioned how to install it on openSUSE via an OBS repo. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org

Right now, that's the only way we are offering moblin images based on opensuse, sorry. It's on our roadmap to make this easier, but for now, it's the best we can do. As others have pointed out, if you wish to discuss this further, please bring it up on the gnoblin mailing list. thanks, greg k-h -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org
