Hi Todd, I would love to get llvm-38, llvm-39, … packages similar to the GCC ones. Currently I cannot update Clang that was shipped with Leap, because the X server is a dependency to this version - quite annoying. Last time I asked about this topic, openSuse's Clang maintainer Ismail Donmez told me, he was working on Clang packages which live in /opt. Talk to him prior to starting your work. /opt is strictly forbidden for any openSUSE packages to my knowledge, so I doubt Ismail would use that for any official packages. Regards, Andreas
