If I understand correctly, installing leap (OS 42.1) requires the hard drive to be a GPT type partition table. Since I have four different distributions (windows & linux) on this PC how would changing the partition table to GPT affect the boot process for multiple distros? Would windows 7 need to be re-installed? Thanks, Tom -- Failure seldom stops you. How did you get that idea? I have a bunch of 42.1 installations, and no disks using GPT. -- "The wise are known for their understanding, and pleasant words are persuasive." Thanks, Tom
Felix & Peter, My mistake. It's win 10 that needs the GPT partitioning. Old age and faulty memory playing tricks on me! So the correct question should have been what problems will I likely encounter with a GPT system other than needing to reload everything (possibly from a backup)?
