[opensuse-factory] KDE4 complaint
Is there a way to turn OFF the irritating automatic full screen function? I have noticed when you move an image it like to go full screen way to easy. Also I have noticed if once it is moved then back the mouse towards the bottom of the image keeps it from jumping into full screen mode. I would like to turn that function OFF. -- 73 de Donn Washburn 307 Savoy Street Email:" n5xwb@comcast.net " Sugar Land, TX 77478 LL# 1.281.242.3256 Ham Callsign N5XWB HAMs : " n5xwb@arrl.net " VoIP via Gizmo: bmw_87kbike / via Skype: n5xwbg BMW MOA #: 4146 - Ambassador " http://counter.li.org " #279316 -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org

Irritating ??

Removing power from your computer will disable the function and remove a lot of irritation. Also: Configure desktop -> Desktop -> Screen Edges -> uncheck Maximize windows ... -- Patrick Shanahan Plainfield, Indiana, USA HOG # US1244711 http://wahoo.no-ip.org Photo Album: http://wahoo.no-ip.org/gallery2 Registered Linux User #207535 @ http://counter.li.org -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org

If by 'full screen' you mean 'maximised windows' and 'image' you mean 'window' then I understand that you dislike the 'drag to top edge to maximise' feature of KDE 4.4. If I'm right you can disable that in System Settings, Look & Feel, Desktop, Screen Edges. This is the default now for KDE4.4... as well as Windows7 and as far as I know, OSX as well. This is not a KDE or SUSE only feature. C. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org

C. Thanks. I'll check it after updates and disable it if necessary. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org

C. Well one person on the list suggested a way and it seems to have worked. Under Configure Desktop > Desktop > Screen Edge > and look for Maximize. Gone!
