[opensuse-factory] Leap 15.0: krb5 update breaks rdp

Hi! Leap 15.0, the update of krb5 from v 1.15.2-lp150.5.3.1 to v 1.15.2- lp150.5.6.1, which I installed yesterday (February 6th, 2019), breaks the remote desktop protocol. Neither xfreerdp nor rdesktop »work«: They start, but no window, no error. I went back to the older version and rdesktop is back to normal. Is this a bug or did the new krb5 bring a feature that needs some customization on the other side (the remote Windows-PC)? I just tested this with a very recent version of freerdp (2.0.0-dev5 (2693389a1)) from Leap 15 to Windows10 (Insider Preview) and it works for me. Also from Tumbleweed with krb5-1.16.1-1.6.x86_64. Do you use any special connection options regarding krb? Hendrik -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org

Well, thank you -- could you test using the freerdp-version provided by the leap-repo? 2.0.0~rc2-lp150.1.1 I'm using freerdp through a ssh-tunnel. First I build the tunnel and then tell freerdp (option v) the ip and the port: /v:127.0.0.2:1234 Regards, Alexander -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org

Works like a charm on leap 15.0 with freerdpVersion : 2.0.0~rc2-lp150.1.1 # xfreerdp /u:john /v:10.1.1.6 Also rdesktop (1.8.4-lp150.81.2) from OBS X11:Utilities works fine. No breakage in sight ;) ~ thal -- *** Jabber thalunil@kallisti.at ***

I noted the same on some target systems, and solved it by adding the option -sec-nla -- H.Merijn Brand http://tux.nl Perl Monger http://amsterdam.pm.org/ using perl5.00307 .. 5.29 porting perl5 on HP-UX, AIX, and openSUSE http://mirrors.develooper.com/hpux/ http://www.test-smoke.org/ http://qa.perl.org http://www.goldmark.org/jeff/stupid-disclaimers/
