[opensuse-factory] Fwd: is dkms package banned from (open)?SUSE?
Hello list, What is the story behind the fact that dkms package seems to be absent[1] in official oS repositories? Thanks. it is not listed on https://en.opensuse.org/openSUSE:Build_Service_application_blacklist My guess is that we prefer kmp packages which are pre-built in OBS, which has the advantage that you do not need kernel-devel on your machines. There is still dkms in Packman for those who need it.
