[opensuse-factory] autoyast select
Hello, I can't find an info you may have :-) I can, in YaST2, rpm groups, i18n, localization find package I need. I beg when yast is created this list is not manually compiled. How can I dump it? export gives me only the whole installed packages. I need the list above (localisation) by the way could it be possible to have localization patterns (that is pattern that install a given langage)? thanks jdd -- http://www.dodin.net http://pizzanetti.fr -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org
Hi,

I don't think I understand your question. You would like to dump what exactly - the list of packages for given locale? The list of packages in given RPM group? And yes, 'Export' function in pkg manager saves only installed packages/patterns/locales to XML for future re-use.
by the way could it be possible to have localization patterns (that is pattern that install a given langage)?
"Locales" in libzypp function in a similar way to patterns in some sense. Every locale includes several packages, mostly translations, dictionaries, fonts etc. for selected language. By choosing particular locale for installation, related packages are also chosen for installation. You can view available locales in YaST pkg manager (sw_single) by selecting "Languages" filter. It is imo not necessary to introduce l10n patterns when much of the desired functionality is already covered by locales/languages. -- \\\\\ Katarina Machalkova \\\\\\\__o OOo developer __\\\\\\\'/_ & hedgehog painter

ok, I see, I missed this one would be nice to have a zypper option to give the same result (package list) thanks jdd -- http://www.dodin.net http://pizzanetti.fr -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org
