[opensuse-factory] control.xml
Hello, rsync-ed factory this morning. When I start a new install, I get the following error message: Cannot access installation media (Medium Number 1.) Check that the server is accessible. When I choose 'Show details', I get: File /suse/setup/descr/control.xml not found on media: http://192.168.2.52/home/factory/ And that's right, there is no such file as /suse/setup/descr/control.xml , but there is a control.xml directly in / . Is it safe to simply ln -s it there? Hi, Actually, it should be safe to link it but your HTTP server needs to support it. But that file should be, of course, at / directory of the installation media by default. Apache2: http://httpd.apache.org/docs/2.0/mod/core.html#directory Look for 'FollowSymLinks' option.
