The English downloads table needed some updates, I cleaned it up some: http://en.opensuse.org/Template:ReleasesTable ... is there any URL for paid support for openSuSE? All I find on novell.com seems to be implying SLED.... is there even paid support I then noticed the Spanish table was ancient, so I synchronized them: http://es.opensuse.org/Template:ReleasesTable I notice some Spanish pages are missing, so I am going to go ahead and translate them soon. http://www.novell.com/products/opensuse/
With their new website, they've buried the link, I had to go into the
"Products A-Z" and go to O. It's not even under the Linux area.

There is few more omissions, like driver update "no". Browsing other pages it seems that nobody really cares much about openSUSE. Strange, I recently had on the phone guy that wanted to buy, not download 10.3, but with page that tell there is no updates etc, and price on SLED I'm not sure that I will hear from him. -- Regards, Rajko. Driver updates stands for Novell working with driver companies together to deliver kernel modules for their hardware that are not in the supported kernel. Novell is not offering this for openSUSE.

I'll let Michl comment on this.

Browsing other pages it seems that nobody really cares much about openSUSE. I wouldn't say nobody really cares. But as the retail box business went down over the last years due to free download of openSUSE and in general the huge availibility of braodband the team working for the retail box only sized down significantly. But as openSUSE 11.0 is now on its way let us know where the retail page needs improvement.

Last month I addressed this on the openSUSE mailinglist. My comment was
more than what needs improvement, on to how to make the retail edition
desirable again.
This was the email I sent:
http://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse/2008-02/msg00346.html
Short synopsis:
Boxed editions in stores raise awareness and public concisness of
openSUSE
Bring back the decent Start Up guide, with short introductions to the
desktops.
Put some sort of swag in the box (like a window decal, which was
included previously)
Perhaps increase the value by making a deal with the guys at Fluendo and
incorporating high quality legal codecs in the box.
Again, just my ideas.

Good ideas, but as you already know community is missing any kind of artists starting with graphic. I'm not the one, and probably you too. Though, this would belong to opensuse-project and opensuse-artwork. -- Regards, Rajko. I see. That explains a lot. It was only a glimpse on 10.3 page. Download located before How to buy. Support link has 10.2 mentioned on page for 10.3, which is not expected. I didn't go further. Nothing that helps sales. When/if I find time, I'll open the question on project list if nobody else jumps in, and start discussion. ... -- Regards, Rajko. Don't forget the free 90-day support offered to users of openSUSE 10.3
Retail edition.
