[opensuse-factory] Migrate gitorious.org/opensuse/desktop-data and bugfix
Hi, can someone from the gitorious opensuse maintainers please accept https://gitorious.org/opensuse/desktop-data/merge_requests/4 and migrate the repo over to github? The package is actually maintained by Will but he's been completely unresponsive to notifications, bugmail and personal mails and the fix is needed for Factory (bnc#871978). I moved this now. But perhaps it would be easiest just to remove references to git from the package and maintain it as is: as package. Is this an advise especially for _this_ package, or for all packages? I'm asking because I'm planning to read more about maintaining packages on github/openSUSE to be able to maintain the 'coreutils' package on github. I remember there was some email encouraging maintenance via osc+git on this list ~.5-1 year ago.
