No, the inclusion of "esound-daemon" is automatic if "pulseaudio-esound-compat" is removed. You will find "pulseaudio-esound-compat" within the list of removed packages. Now, the real question is, why was "pulseaudio-esound-compat" on the list of removed packages? Was it the build (compile-fail, test-fail, packaging-fail) or was it a QA fail?
