Hi all, We are pleased to announce the availability of Agama 7. Among other features, it brings: * Allow choosing localization settings for the installed system (language, keyboard and timezone). * Use zram to reduce memory consumption. * Add support to install MicroOS and MicroOS Desktop. Drop Leap 16.0 support. * Simplified software selection based on a curated list of patterns per product. * Registration support. It is enabled for Dolomite. * Allow to select the file system type selection and to choose a policy to make space. * Support for network bonding in the unattended scenario. If you are interested in the details, please check the announcement on our team's blog: https://yast.opensuse.org/blog/2023-12-22/agama7 Thanks! Regards, Imo

Tested in Qemu on bfs laptop with Tumbleweed with XFCE, MicroOS with GNOME and MicroOS with no DE and all installs worked fine Spotted some errors in the Swedish translations for products.xml however (but as those are my fault i will fix those later today) Den fre 22 dec. 2023 kl 16:03 skrev Imobach Gonzalez Sosa <igonzalezsosa@suse.com>:

Hi Luna, Thanks a lot for giving it a try! And, of course, for your work on the Swedish translations. Much appreciated. On Mon, Dec 25, 2023 at 6:41 AM Luna Jernberg <droidbittin@gmail.com> wrote:
Changing the language to Swedish worked for me (no need to change to other language first). When I select a different language, the UI is translated and reloaded. But if you can reproduce that problem, please, it would be good to open a bug report.
According to the screenshot, the problem is that some translations are unavailable, so Agama falls back to English. For some context, as you may know, some untranslated strings are coming from Agama's backend and it was impossible to translate them[1]... until now. However, we are still marking all the strings for translation (hence we did not close the issue) but it should happen in the upcoming days. Hi Luna, Please, what do you mean by "does not really work as it should"? When I change the installer language, the UI is reloaded using the selected language. Of course, it might happen that you see some english texts if some translations are still missing. About the gnome-terminal, I do not think it is an Agama problem at all (I have not tried it). Thanks in advance! On Fri, Jan 5, 2024 at 5:53 AM Luna Jernberg <droidbittin@gmail.com> wrote:

And todays image works too, will do another test tomorrow as one string translation was missing
Hi Luna, Thanks a lot for testing the image so often! We have renamed some packages today ("rubygem-agama" is now "rubygem-agama-yast"; "agama-dbus-server" is now "agama"). So let's see if the image is properly rebuilt. We will keep an eye on it. Regards, Imo
