No, that is meant for after release for installing security updates. During the factory / pre-release cycle it is recommended you use zypper up or zypper dup from the command line. no...but with the right repos enabled/refreshed a zypper dup will.. see man zypper.. but (imo) for more controlled testing, it would be better to do a clean format and install into your sandbox--that will avoid the chance of the dup leaving old bones mixed in.. dd -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org

RC1 is not released yet, so you won't. And you will only if you use the 12.2 repositories that will go online as part of the RC1 release... Factory is not 12.2! I don't think it helps causal or even somewhat more experienced testers to understand what's what as long as dup'ing from Factory results in login prompts reporting 12.2B2 instead of something that excludes the string 12.2. -- "The wise are known for their understanding, and pleasant words are persuasive." Felix, that's defined in openSUSE-release. Will you submit the trivial fix or shall I do it later? Sounds like something that would be easy enough if only I had an idea where to start. Once upon a time I knew a little about CVS, but about anything newer like SVN or GIT I know nothing more than that they exist. I've only tried to use OSC once, and it I remember nothing about. I'd like to proceed, if only someone would provide a seed, not only to fix this, but also another very simple bug I just found, typos in comments in /etc/sysconfig/clock, which are prior to Tuesday's commit by werner@suse.de. -- "The wise are known for their understanding, and pleasant words are persuasive."
