Morning all, just in case you are a qt5 Expert and have some spare time on your hands: There is a GUI for fingerprint scanners called fingerprint-gui https://build.opensuse.org/package/show/hardware/fingerprint-gui which is currently broken in TW (needs qt4). A qt5 version is on the way https://build.opensuse.org/request/show/805625 but it supports only libfprint <= 1.0 So, if someone wants to migrate this to current libfprint-API https://fprint.freedesktop.org/ this would be most welcome (looks like the original author of the software is not active anymore) Have a good sunday!
