Hi, http://download.opensuse.org/distribution/SL-OSS-factory/inst-source/suse/i5... kernel-default-2.6.24_rc5_git2-2.i586.rpm used in factory installation in VirtualBox (latest) can start only with acpi=off, but then system timer runs very fast. Old kernel is, as usually, removed. Booting in runlevel 3 and changing clock source from pit to tsc seems to be work.
