[opensuse-factory] YaST: highlights of development sprint 113
Time for another development report from the YaST Team (temporarily transmuted in the YaST+Cockpit Team), including - Progress on the Cockpit modules for managing wicked and for transactional updates. - Improvements in the YaST Partitioner regarding management of Btrfs subvolumes. - Hibernation support configurable per product and system role. Check the whole report at https://yast.opensuse.org/blog/2020-11-24/sprint-113 Cheers. -- Ancor González Sosa YaST Team at SUSE Linux GmbH
Hi Ancor, thank you for sharing the blog post, it was an interesting read. I always look forward to more improvements to Btrfs, whether it's the filesystem itself or tooling around it! However, I've noticed that even within a single pull request the spelling does not seem the same. For example in https://github.com/yast/yast-storage-ng/pull/1165 the first two screenshots spell it Btrfs while the third one spells it BtrFS. I have noticed this inconsistency in several places. How easy is it for someone like me to correct this and would it even be desirable for an outsider to submit such a PR? Thanks! -- Lukas Kucharczyk — Technical Writer, SUSE Linux s.r.o. Of course it would be desirable! Looking forward to it. Cheers. -- Ancor González Sosa YaST Team at SUSE Software Solutions

Fixed in this PR (which will be merged in the master branch and submitted to Tumbleweed this week): https://github.com/yast/yast-storage-ng/pull/1179 Thanks for reporting. -- Ancor González Sosa YaST Team at SUSE Software Solutions
