[opensuse-factory] Relevance of the Dropbear package

Hi, is anybody using or does anybody know someone using Dropbear - a relatively small SSH server/client? Dropbear was originally added to have an SSH client without libpam dependencies to allow it being part of initrd - mainly for network boot on s390. But among others the introduction of IUCV made the use case obsolete. Since openSUSE is not really targeted at really small systems I am wondering if the package still has a purpose for openSUSE? Inclusion into initrd is still on the table. dracut 44 started supporting that, for example to unlock crypto volumes. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org
