[opensuse-factory] Anyone interested in createrepo maintainership?
Hi, For some reason, createrepo bugs are sent my way nowadays, while I never touched this package. Is there anyone who'd be interested in taking over? You could start with a simple bug: https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=841280 (it seems the patch mentioned there could be dropped) Cheers, Vincent -- Les gens heureux ne sont pas pressés. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org

"View bug activity" tells you how/why you got this bugreport ;-) First, osc maintainer tells me Matt Barringer (mbarringer) is the bugowner. yyuan correctly assigned the bug, but it got bounced back to the screening team by autobugz some hours later - that's what typically happens when someone doesn't work for SUSE anymore. xyliu then assigned the bug to Coolo, who forwarded it to you. You then tried mmarek, but he agreed with Coolo and returned the bug to you. It looks like they both think you don't have enough work ;-) It seems Matt also has a non-SUSE bugzilla account. I set the bug to NEEDINFO to him - maybe he's still interested in maintaining the package. However the changelog doesn't look too promising - Matt's last changelog entry is from 2010... That all said: sorry, I won't maintain createrepo, but at least you now know who you can blame for assigning the bug to you ;-) Regards, Christian Boltz -- Eine kurze richtige Antwort (mancher mag sie als unfreundlich bezeichnen) ist besser als eine lange, freundliche, falsche. You need to be optimistic. More optimistic. Even more optimistic. As createrepo seems crucial to openSUSE operation (we still use rpm-md), someone will be found -- somebody, eventually, maybe. :p -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org

Oh, I knew the "how this bug ended up being in my plate" part. Doesn't mean that it's correct :-) Vincent -- Les gens heureux ne sont pas pressés. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org
