Your problem is that you use inoficial software that does not support DVD media. DVD media usually has less that 2300000 sectors but wodim is too dumb to read the capacity and too dumb to write in dual layer. I recomend you to use the official cdrecord. NO. cdrecord refuses to use my burner. There is a bugzilla about that one. Please, you go argue your point about legalities with Novell, not with me. Cdrecord is known to work with all drives. In special I own HL-DT-ST drives that are known to work without problems. If you have problems with your drive, I recommend you to make a bugreport. P.S.: Why did you send two separate mails? The link above syas it is not only too big, but broken as well. The only alternatives are installing M5, if the ISO is still available, then dup, or wait for RC1. - -- Cheers / Saludos, Carlos E. R. You can directly install from the ISO file in the hard drive (or netowrk, or...): http://en.opensuse.org/SDB:Linuxrc#p_install You just need to extract vmlinuz/initrd from the ISO and point grub to them. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org
