After some criticism sent over about minor or medium complains, about 11.2 and 11.3 Milestone 0, I would now like to send a good and strong "many congratulations on a job well done!" regarding the installation DVD of openSUSE 11.3 Milestone 1. I downloaded the metalink Gnome desktop version and installed as guest machine, under VirtualBox 3.1.2 openSUSE 11.2 (64bits) host. Installation goes flawlessly, straightforward and quick, defaulting onto ext4 filesystem (which to me represents a completely new environment, since I always used ext3). I have not yet played with this very newcomer openSUSE, but, at first glance, I have been very good impressed. That is noticeable, considering it is "just a Milestone1".
