Of course I use default free driver (nvidia not installed), xrander report 1920x1080 normal display (and I have it, I found the text to be small before noticing it was not full screen) display *is* 1920x108 and was right last update I can't make a bug report now as tomorrow moring I leave and wont have anymore access to this computer for a week jdd -- http://www.dodin.net http://www.dailymotion.com/video/xgxog7_clip-l-ombre-et-la-lumiere-3-bad-pig... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FGgv_ZFtV14 -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org

Cannot say if this is in any way related, but after a recent "zypper dup" I also noticed that the screen resolution wasn't right. (Too low, with parts cut off[1]). I had seen the same before and I'm pretty sure that it's a kernel bug with the Intel i915 family that occurs when "nomodeset" is used as kernel parameter. Anyway, after a reboot it was right again, and I haven't seen the problem since then. (I'm using acpi_osi=Linux and no "nomodeset".) m. [1] The fun part is that the kclock.kss screensaver didn't show the clock as circle, but as ellipse, so there's probably a mismatch between what the kernel thinks about the screen extents, and what the X server thinks. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org
