[opensuse-factory] TW 20180915 broken
Hi, tried to update this morning to the latest snapshot (from 20180911), and it sems this is broken. After booting it ends up in a emergency console, as some (all?) modules are not found. During installation many errors regarding 'symbol not found' came up. snapper rollback saved me...... Anyone else to confirm? Did you check the system log with "journalctl -xn" to see what's wrong?
Anyone else to confirm?
I don't have any problems to report. I am on the latest snapshot. Adrian -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org

Me neither. Went with the upgrade last night and everything still running fine. (Thinkpad X230, therefore Intel-only of course) Regads, vinz. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org

After upgrade to 20180916 (it contained grub2), after reboot I ended up in GRUB rescue console. I had to load kernel (linuxefi (hd0,1)/...), initrdam a booted. It looked normal, so that I re-installed GRUB (grub2-install / dev/...). I happened on one of two computers I upgraded. That computer had only flash disk inside (convertible 10" with touch screen). This might be related to its usage of /dev/mmblk0, /dev/mmblk0p1 and so on instead of "classical" sda1 etc. At least I don't have any other theory what could go wrong. -- Vojtěch Zeisek Komunita openSUSE GNU/Linuxu Community of the openSUSE GNU/Linux https://www.opensuse.org/ https://trapa.cz/
