Joop,
If i would run something like :-
# zypper install udhcp ( or whatever an exact package name is)
then i should be able either install Xen-Server-Host via Yast or
True. But the problem is that udhcp is not included on the DVD. To solve this problem udhcp needs to be included or it needs to be removed from the requirements. You can do zypper se udhcp to see whether it exists. (se for search)
# zypper install <Xen-Server-Host>
To find out exact package names for Xen 3.3 backport to Ubuntu Hardy Dom0 i did :-
# apt-cache search "xen*"| grep "3.3" before # apt-get install . . . . . .
You can do zypper se udhcp to see whether it exists. (se for search)
or just load Synaptic Manager ,having backports previously enabled , and get all dependences resolved automatically , when selected xen-hypervisor-3.3, xen-libs-3.3 and xen-utils-3.3 to install.
Could you, please, advise how to manage on Suse 11.1 or just provide a link
Thank you. Boris.
