KDE Megarelease 6 in TW snapshot 20240311
Zypper doesn’t fetch all the lang packs in Plasma 6. I have to detect which lang pack is missing, try to guess by file names, and install them one by one… Not an usual openSUSE experience :( Charlie
When I try to do a zypper dup, I get this at the very start: 3 Problems: Problem: the installed mingw64-libgd-devel-2.2.5-37.1.noarch requires 'mingw64-libjpeg-devel', but this requirement cannot be provided Problem: the to be installed patterns-kde-kde_plasma-20231206-3.1.noarch requires '(plasma6-nm if NetworkManager)', but this requirement cannot be provided Problem: the to be installed pipewire-alsa-1.0.4-1.1.x86_64 requires 'pipewire-pulseaudio', but this requirement cannot be provided Problem: the installed mingw64-libgd-devel-2.2.5-37.1.noarch requires 'mingw64-libjpeg-devel', but this requirement cannot be provided deleted providers: mingw64-libjpeg8-devel-8.0.2-5.80.noarch not installable providers: mingw64-libjpeg-devel-8.0.4-1.3.noarch[mingw64] Solution 1: deinstallation of mingw64-libgd-devel-2.2.5-37.1.noarch Solution 2: keep obsolete mingw64-libjpeg8-devel-8.0.2-5.80.noarch Solution 3: break mingw64-libgd-devel-2.2.5-37.1.noarch by ignoring some of its dependencies Choose from above solutions by number or skip, retry or cancel [1/2/3/s/r/c/d/?] (c): 2 Problem: the to be installed patterns-kde-kde_plasma-20231206-3.1.noarch requires '(plasma6-nm if NetworkManager)', but this requirement cannot be provided not installable providers: plasma6-nm-6.0.1-1.1.x86_64[repo-oss] Solution 1: deinstallation of patterns-kde-kde_plasma-20231206-2.2.noarch Solution 2: deinstallation of plasma-nm5-libreswan-5.27.10-1.2.x86_64 Solution 3: keep obsolete patterns-kde-kde_plasma-20231206-2.2.noarch Solution 4: break patterns-kde-kde_plasma-20231206-3.1.noarch by ignoring some of its dependencies Choose from above solutions by number or skip, retry or cancel [1/2/3/4/s/r/c/d/?] (c): 1 Problem: the to be installed pipewire-alsa-1.0.4-1.1.x86_64 requires 'pipewire-pulseaudio', but this requirement cannot be provided not installable providers: pipewire-pulseaudio-1.0.4-193.2.i586[Multimedia_-_libs] pipewire-pulseaudio-1.0.4-193.2.x86_64[Multimedia_-_libs] pipewire-pulseaudio-1.0.4-1.1.x86_64[repo-oss] Solution 1: deinstallation of pipewire-alsa-1.0.3-191.1.x86_64 Solution 2: deinstallation of pulseaudio-17.0-3.1.x86_64 Solution 3: keep obsolete pipewire-alsa-1.0.3-191.1.x86_64 Solution 4: break pipewire-alsa-1.0.4-1.1.x86_64 by ignoring some of its dependencies Choose from above solutions by number or skip, retry or cancel [1/2/3/4/s/r/c/d/?] (c): 1 Resolving dependencies...
