2.8 was a bit of a mess (package wise). I would love to look into that, but given that openSUSE:13.2/filezilla already has a new Filezilla version that uses wx3 (which I have tested under Factory and found working), I am suddenly feeling lazy looking into that wx2.8 problem ... ;-)
IOW, the problem should go away between your -beta1 version and the final one.
fyi: I just updated to -RC1 and the filezilla problem remains.
rpm -qR filezilla
should show libwx_baseu-suse-3.0.so.0
rpm -qR filezilla | grep baseu
Looks like that won't happen until RC2. I do see it in OBS: https://build.opensuse.org/package/binary/openSUSE:13.2/filezilla?arch=x86_64&filename=filezilla-3.9.0.5-1.1.x86_64.rpm&repository=standard But with -RC1 it doesn't: libwx_baseu-2.8.so.0()(64bit) libwx_baseu-2.8.so.0(WXU_2.8)(64bit) libwx_baseu_net-2.8.so.0()(64bit) libwx_baseu_net-2.8.so.0(WXU_2.8)(64bit) No big deal for me, I was just testing it out, not needing to use it right now.
