I personally wonder about the packman thing though, as far as I remember only the Box versions got it per default. I had to add and active it the last time I installed 11.4, 12.1 and now 12.2 RC2 (well, I haven't done on 12.2 so far.).
I installed oS 12.1 yesterday (in addition to 12.2 which I have been using for a while) and in 12.1 there are entries in the list of repos in YaST for BOTH packman and libdvdcss and, therefore, both are selectable by the user, without having to add them in "the long way" In 12.2 these 2 repos are not shown.
