warning on the eventually broken link in the post (was when I received it)
The link worked for me. Could you please try again? Maybe I was editing it concurrently.
The main feature of the original grub was the ability of using the mini terminal to fix broken boot system.
I hope grub2 have similar system, that should be precisely commented in our wiki to ease the work of testers. it's often at this moment then problem arise, and grub2 doc is intimidating (at least it intimidated me :-)
Grub2 offers same capability. :) It's a good idea to have wiki page that demostrates some of the command line usage of grub2 (for rescue your system from badly installed loader, chainload other systems etc). The grub2 also features new light scripting capability. Also I think we can improve bug reporting page of bootloader. :) http://en.opensuse.org/openSUSE:Submitting_bug_reports#Reporting_a_bug Regards, Michael
