any distro including windoz requires more than just sitting in front of the box. could you drive a car w/o some training and practice and care and you even had to obtain a license.
Yep, you need a driving license to use a care. But the car should work reliable and you don't need to be a car mechanics or car electronics (in the future more car SW developer ;-) )
But why always comparing other OS with Linux? Linux based systems are different but the should be also relay reliable and usable with a nice and stable SW ergonomic (during my study as Ingenieur-Informatik time there was a dedicated curse for this).
Remark: Today I'm working as HW-architect for truck control units running with Linux and other OS - so I know what I talk about the comparison with cars ;-))
What I say is, Tumbleweed is not for novices. The user can not be a plain user, must know something about repairs, because Tumbleweed is expected to break now and then. Not so Leap. Unfortunately, with Windows you can get a nephew or friend or neighbour to help. Everybody learns how to use Windows at school time. It is easy to get help. You can take the machine to a shop to have it "repaired". With Linux... Meh, you are often alone. -- Cheers / Saludos, Carlos E. R. (from 15.3 x86_64 at Telcontar)
