The new FCS date is scheduled for 2nd July and was chosen to fit the rule of releasing openSUSE Leap in between SLE Gold Master and release dates. So the versions of base-system packages released on GA are in sync.
Could you please clarify what this means for the EOL status of Leap 15.1: is it still expected to be maintained up to the end of Nov 2020 or will its lifetime be extended to a couple of months beyond that, in keeping with the "upgrade to the latest minor release within 6 months of its availability" goal?
Currently the lifetime of Leap 15.1 is aligned with SLES 15 SP1, which is set to "6 months after SP2 release". I think it will be in this area of end of November 2020 still.
