If the "agent" is disabled, you have to type your passphrase every once in a while (in Thunderbird+enigmail), right?
Have you tried increasing max-cache-ttl and default-cache-ttl?
To be honest, no, but it doesn't help with the issue in the first place. My clients are old people who learned to accept some steps they have to live with (including the change from some M$ OS towards Linux); now the setup changed and they need to adopt their behaviour, remembering complicated passphrases etc. *This* is what I liked about (and still do with my own versions of the packages in question) the gnome-keyring thing tied and enabled via PAM... I hope it'll still work in future versions, 'cause it helps some people quite a lot. Cheers. l8er manfred
