I need to log in to desktop as root, but after i enter the password and hit enter, this message pops-up:
Call to lnuser failed (temporary directories full?). Check your installation.
Is there something i have to do, to get root into my desktop again?
Kind Regards,
Maybe it doesn't matter, but i just tried to login to a rootdesktop via tty2. Just to look if that was still impossible. Now i was able to do it, and the desktop loaded normally. It broke off later, due to a normal desktop on tty7 i guess. The only thing different in this install, is i changed my partition setup by hand after removing lvm. My guess is thus, it had something to do with lvm, as shipped with oS122, as it did not show in any partitioner, as knoppix, gparted and the kde-live cd. That means that the normal login trough kdm works also. Is there an easy command to get the output of a tty to an editor? Kind Regards, -- Have a nice day, Oddball.
