etc.
What packages are needed to get the full trace of this problem so that I can write a complete Bugzilla entry? Fortunately, starting NetworkManager again from a console works. It is only the initial start that crashes.
Thanks,
Larry Hi Larry, hi all,
I think I recognized a quite similar bug about two and a half months ago (2010-12-18 00:30 UTC) after updating an installed openSUSE 11.4 Milestone 5 (11.4 M5) to factory or factory-tested: bugzilla.novell.com : Bug 659089 - panel not shown for one user - no nm-applet in panel for the next user (after nm-a crash while update) https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=659089 GNOME Bugzilla : Bug 637126 - Crash in panel_applet_get_xid, panel_applet_factory_get_applet https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=637126 Maybe this is connected to 'your' bug?
