Team, It seems between the last 4 or 5 snapshots something has changed with sddm and caused some strange behavior with nvidia driver. I did some extensive testing last night. Here are my results. After installing the nvidia driver 390.48 and rebooting hoping to get my login screen I just get a blank screen and my external monitors which there are 2 seem to go to sleep because of no signal. sddm seems to be running, but there is no login screen. So i clear the sddm cache to see if thats the problem. So i reboot and I get the same problem. So I shut the system down and boot it back up again with no external monitors attached and I get the same result as before with the blank screen, but sddm seems to still be running. So I shut down the system again, but before I do I change my displaymanager autologin to my user id. I boot the system and once the system boots up it begins the autologin and loads KDE. I can now attach my external monitors and everything is fine. What might be going wrong here with sddm?
