And that is what makes it so powerful. Without all the http, html and css crap, the essential part of your message gets across the tubes much quicker. Less is more, as they say. The main point is latency. 5s to call up forums.opensuse.org.
On the other side we need something which allows more experienced users to still use a mail user agent which is able to handle threading and other advanced features.
