About a year ago I stumbled upon this. (I usually save all interesting commands for later use)
/lib64/ld-linux-x86-64.so.2 --help
Telcontar:~ # /lib64/ld-linux-x86-64.so.2 --help --help: error while loading shared libraries: --help: cannot open shared object file Telcontar:~ #
rpm -qf /lib6 4/ld-linux-x86-64.so.2 glibc-2.36-5.1.x86_64
seems your installation/box is missing something. and I know you know about rpm -V glibc-<your-version>
My system is not missing anything.
cer@Telcontar:~> rpm -qf /lib64/ld-linux-x86-64.so.2 glibc-2.31-150300.37.1.x86_64 cer@Telcontar:~>
rpm -V glibc-2.31-150300.37.1.x86_64 rpm -q --requires glibc-2.31-150300.37.1.x86_64
your system reports it cannot open a "shared object file" something is missing or corrupt
Nope. I have a guess what it is, but not that. Hint: I'm not using TW. -- Cheers / Saludos, Carlos E. R. (from 15.3 x86_64 at Telcontar)
