Long live GNOME 3.4.
True, but it would be even better if any plugins were available for it. The total lack of shell plugins makes it useless on FACTORY :-(
Looking at https://extensions.gnome.org/ there are only 4 extensions working for my version of GNOME, indeed.
We could at least drop all the gnome-shell-extensions*.rpm packages from FACTORY :-)
Extensions authors have to port the code to new GNOME, there's not much we can do about that. (I would guess that for a lot of them, there's nearly nothing to do except checking that things work fine)
Well, some stuff should definitely be included in the default installation of gnome shell (like being able to select a non-depressing theme ;-) But that's for sure a different topic. I'll try to port some of the extensions and shut up here with the offtopic posts now :-) -- Stefan Seyfried "Dispatch war rocket Ajax to bring back his body!" -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-factory+owner@opensuse.org
