Hi -
I am running alpha5 on x86_64 (dell 690). At the last stage of install the printer configuration crashed and then the install stopped and put me straight into kdm. I then tried yast2->Hardware->printer and as soon as the printer window opened it crashed.
Please file a bugreport.
Presumably this can be worked around for now by pointing my browser at localhost:631, but I haven't tried except to verify that cups is listening at that url.
I haven't tried alpha4, so I don't know if the problem exists there also.
On another topic, whenever I log in a message box comes up that says DBUS is not running, however DBUS is running.
Known issue, even mentioned in the most annoying bugs.
Other than that the new KDE desktop is awsome!
