The correct style for .changes files is: - 1 level + 2 level - 3 level . 4th level
read the packaging guidelines about the .changes file and live with it. (https://en.opensuse.org/openSUSE:Creating_a_changes_file_%28RPM%29 lists basically EVERY example with this notion)
Hmm ... it says "Third-level or deeper bullet points are not defined" :)
:) well spotted... in fact, it's really nothing more than a style preference.. you will find the largest teams having worked out a standard between them (where mostly - + - seems common). Being part of the review team, I can ASSURE you that there are almost as many styles as contributors. Some teams follow the advise to line break at 67 chars (the same length as the dashed lines) others ignore it. None of these types have been used so far as a decline reason by the review team, and frankly speaking, I don't think we should enforce it, especially not before we enforce proper grammar, spelling and choice of language.
