Does anyone know why debugedit is failing for 32-bit systems? I am assuming that it should be producing the file in /tmp.
Yes. It does look like an error in either the vboxnetflt.ko object or debugedit.
I suggest to open a bugreport and specify how to reproduce.
Yes, please! I see the same issue when trying to build the nvidia driver package on TW/i586. Please put me into Cc, so we can cry together. ;-) In addition there is also boo#1076393 - fix nVidia KMP build I guess yout haven't noticed yet, that you were affected by this as well ...
