Is there a way to get the KDE4 desktop back from the Tumbleweed repo?
Well, again, it is still in the repo. You should be able to install it, in particular if you installed my plasma5 packages.
OK, I'll try to do that when I find the time.
Konsole did segfault on first start and lost all profiles.
Konsole crashing on login (when started by the session management) is a known problem that has been fixed already in KDE:Frameworks5.
Yes, I just realised it happens on every login, not just the first one after the upgrade.
The profiles are probably just not migrated. Try copying ~/.kde4/share/apps/konsole to ~/.local/share/. There's an upstream bug report about this btw: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=346762
I've only had four profiles (and only really used two of them anyway), so I simply re-created them.
Shift+Ins works fine here with the default shortcuts.
Yes, since Ctrl-Ins didn't work I probably hadn't anything that Shift-Ins would insert.
Ctrl+Ins is not assigned though, you'd have to do that manually.
I've just done that. I thought that should have been a Global Alternate shortcut, but it seems there aren't any of those. Will check what's up with that later.
