Dear Ancor Gonzalez Sosa, I can only speak for the desktop. In my opinion, there should be a minimum pattern and a full pattern for every desktop environment. Like Gnome Minimal, Gnome Full, KDE Minimal, KDE Full, Cinnamon Minimal etc. Today, when I install a Gnome standard system on openSUSE Tumbleweed, a lot of things that are unnecessary for me are pre-installed. If I want a minimal Gnome installation, it always requires a lot of manual work in the YaST installer. Generalistic patterns such as Games are no longer up-to-date because everyone has different preferences for games, image programs, office programs and so on. In my opinion these generalistic patterns should be removed. If you want a complete desktop, you can choose the Full Pattern. And if you want a minimal desktop, you'll find your own apps after installation anyway.
