The Suse 10.3 minimal comes without vi iputils etc. Why was this changed? For building really small servers a good base.
The minimal pattern is still without vi. But the "Text installation" is with it. If you want small servers, you don't need "Text installation" - many complained with 10.3 that they got a basically unusuable system when selecting that.
;-) Ok. In my opion a really small system must boot and that should be enough for the first step.
I agree, but "really small system" != "Text installation" Greetings, Stephan -- SUSE LINUX Products GmbH, GF: Markus Rex, HRB 16746 (AG Nürnberg) --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org
