Additionally, netconfig seems to conflict with NM, in /v/l/m I find: | linux dns-resolver: ATTENTION: You have modified /etc/resolv.conf. | Leaving it untouched... | linux dns-resolver: You can find my version in | /etc/resolv.conf.netconfig
However, I still do not know what the messages above mean.
It means that either you or some app (NetworkManager?) tampered with /etc/resolv.conf so that its check sum no longer matches. In that case netconfig (a network script responsible for consistent updating of resolv.conf) refuses to modify it.
If it was you who updated resolv.conf manually, you're basically on your own.
Thanks for your explanation. If I had changed my resolv.conf manually, I would not have wondered about these messages. :)
If it was some other app (usually you can check in resolv.conf header which one), please file a bug. If 'some other app' is NetworkManager, it looks like https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=544195 reappeared.
Yes, it must have been NM, and thanks for the link. However, the bug report was reopened already by someone else. Gruß Jan -- New Jersey? What exit.... -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-factory+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-factory+help@opensuse.org
