For me, all I need to do was modifying Packman repo to http://ftp.skynet.be/pub/packman/suse/factory and install libxine1, libxine1-codecs and phonon-backend-xine. I removed gstreamer related packagages earlier and since today mp3 playback works.
fluendo is installed, but there is no decoder, because the tracks rush to the end, without any sound....
