No bugs found on my Toshiba laptop with an i915 graphics adapter. I noticed no difference in the boot sequence.
i915 has two meanings: 1-kernel driver for all non-ancient Intel IGPs 2-i915 GMA 950 graphics on Intel northbridge chip from 2004-2005, which only works with 32bit Pentium 4s and Celerons, after which the i915 kernel driver was named
So, did you test on 32bit TW with your i915 IGP, or is some other IGP in your Toshiba, and if so, which? e.g.:
