Please file a bugreport against GNOME.
Will do. I just saw the uneasy feeling confirmed tonight that I got when I witnessed how easily the young project Monsoon was adapted as the default BT client against tried-and-tested Transmission. Is the decision carved in stone, or can it be changed, yet?
As I said, it was tested by several people before the decision was made. I don't know if you're still subscribed to the -gnome ml but that's where the discussion took place. JP asked if anyone was willing to test and suggest a default client and Monsoon was the result of that. I think we also added tranmission to Factory as a backup but not sure.
Yes we did. So it'd be easy to switch to transmission by default if we want.
