I think you understand, but in runlevel 3 either directly or via ncurses yast (either 11.2 or M3) or in GUI YaST2 I can't seem to find this "resolution" submenu anywhere, not in "Boot Loader Options", not in "Boot Loader Installation Details" or anywhere else. Is there some other way to open yast2 bootloader that provides this "resolution" option?
are you looking for: yast -> boot loader settings -> edit -> vga mode
I don't think so. That looks like management of menu.lst, what vga= completes to for the various cmdlines rather than the resolution embedded in /boot/message and gfxmenu behavior. -- "The wise are known for their understanding, and pleasant words are persuasive."
